Sukkur IBA University invites applications for the position of Project Manager on a project basis for the duration of one year, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance, up to the completion of the project. This opportunity is for the HEC Funded project titled “Establishment of Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui Technology (NASTech) Park at Sukkur IBA University.” We are seeking dynamic, qualified, and result-oriented candidates to join our team as Project Manager.

Details of Project Manager Career Oppertunities

• Qualification:
  • B.E (Civil) 1st Division, preferably with a Masters in Project Management from an HEC recognized University/Institution
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a public/private organization of good repute
  • Extensive experience of 07-08 years in project design, execution/management, project documentation, procurement, consultant and contractor provision, and execution of ADP and PSDP
  • Candidates with experience in public sector universities as Project Manager/ Coordinator will be given preference
  • In-depth knowledge of PEC, PPRA, Planning Commission, Finance, Project Management, and other government rules and procedures prescribed for development projects
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities
  • Proficient in project management tools and software
• Responsibilities of Project Manager/ Coordinator:
  • Designing and executing project plans in accordance with the project objectives and requirements
  • Managing all aspects of the project, including project documentation, procurement, consultant and contractor provision, and execution of the Annual Development Program (ADP) and Public Sector Development Program (PSDP)
  • Ensuring compliance with PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council), PPRA (Public Procurement Regulatory Authority), Planning Commission, Finance, and other relevant government rules and procedures for development projects
  • Overseeing project progress, monitoring milestones, and ensuring timely completion
  • Managing project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure project success
  • Providing regular reports and updates to the higher authorities and stakeholders
  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize project risks
  • Mentoring and supervising project team members to achieve project objectives
