Role Description:

As an Internal Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in increasing application numbers across our homes and supporting the home management teams. Your responsibilities will include vetting CVs, scheduling interviews, and processing pre-employment checks. This role requires strong administrative skills and the ability to handle high volumes of candidates while effectively prioritizing your workload. You will be provided with the necessary tools, including a laptop and phone, to facilitate your remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the applicant tracking system: As an Internal Recruiter, it will be your responsibility to closely monitor the applicant tracking system, ensuring efficient onboarding processes and minimizing the time to hire.
  • Provide recruitment support and guidance: Offer valuable support and guidance to home management teams, assisting them in delivering a positive candidate experience and maintaining timely recruitment practices.
  • Collaborate with Managers and Administrators: Collaborate closely with Managers and Administrators to effectively market homes at local and regional events, attracting top talent to the organization.
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding processes: Take the lead in managing the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for a designated number of homes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires.
  • Deliver tailored support to homes with high vacancy rates: Address the staffing challenges of homes with high vacancy rates, ensuring prompt and effective recruitment to meet their needs.
  • Screen and evaluate applications: Thoroughly screen and evaluate applications received through various advertising platforms, selecting and forwarding suitable candidates to home management teams.
  • Assist in scheduling interviews: Coordinate and schedule interviews with potential candidates, providing efficient support to management teams throughout the process.
  • Train new management team members: Guide and train new members of the management team on the effective use of the recruitment system, enabling them to navigate the process smoothly.
  • Conduct new starter calls: Conduct informative calls with new hires, addressing their inquiries about the organization, role, and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless transition.
  • Cultivate strong relationships: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hiring managers, to ensure effective collaboration and a positive recruitment experience.
  • Support the recruitment of international candidates: Assist in the recruitment process for international candidates based in the UK, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Collaborate on recruitment strategy: Work closely with the Head of Recruitment and the Resourcing & Onboarding Manager to develop, embed, and review the recruitment strategy, contributing your expertise as an Internal Recruiter.
  • Assist in producing management reports: Contribute to the production of regular management reports, providing insights and updates on recruitment activities and progress.
  • Participate in recruitment-based working groups: Actively engage in recruitment-focused working groups, sharing your knowledge and contributing to the enhancement of recruitment processes and strategies.
