Executive Purchase Compliance & PMO Manager

Zong Telecom is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Executive Purchase Compliance & PMO. In this role, you will provide support to the Senior Manager in the end-to-end Bid Bond & Performance Guarantee Management process. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure compliance with procurement procedures and facilitate effective project management.

Job Responsibilities:

As an Executive Purchase Compliance & PMO, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Receiving and verification of Bid Bond & Performance Guarantee.
2. Responsible for verifying price and validity, and signing of DCF for handing over the bond/guarantee.
3. Handing over the bid bond/performance guarantee to the Finance department.
4. Initiating bid bond encashment in case of default.
5. Liaising with Finance for the withdrawal of bid bonds for unsuccessful vendors.
6. Keeping a record of all bid bonds/performance guarantees received encashment or withdrawal for audit purposes.
7. Ensuring the provision of renewed Performance Guarantee one month before the expiry date.
8. Withdrawing Performance Guarantees after obtaining necessary approvals.
9. Liaising with the IT team for the development and maintenance of the Guarantee Management System.
10. Assisting with any other tasks as assigned by management.

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Skills):

To be considered for this position of Executive Purchase Compliance & PMO Manager, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Education:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree. MBA in Finance & Accounting or Project Management will be preferred.

Work Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of work experience in a relevant domain.

Skills – Generic:

• Expertise in MS Office suite (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint & MS Word).
• Strong analytical, presentation, and report-writing skills.
• Understanding of Project Management Methodologies and Tools.

Skills – Job Specific:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in pressure circumstances.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend financial statements.
• Ability to collaborate with development teams for system improvement.
