Responsibilities of Electrician:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Perform troubleshooting to identify electrical issues and implement appropriate solutions.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to coordinate work and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance and repairs.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
- Assist in the planning and execution of electrical projects as directed.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in an educational or institutional setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring.
- Proficient in reading electrical diagrams and blueprints.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and regulations.
- Ability to effectively use electrical tools, equipment, and testing devices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various conditions.
