Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing financial strategies and policies in line with the company’s objectives
- Overseeing the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Managing cash flow and working capital to ensure that the company meets its financial obligations
- Managing relationships with banks and other financial institutions
- Managing the company’s investments and ensuring that they are consistent with the company’s financial objectives
- Providing advice and support to senior management on financial matters
- Leading and managing the finance team
Qualifications and Requirements for Chief Financial Officer:
- MBA/CA/ACCA or equivalent degree in finance from a recognized institution
- Minimum 10-15 years of relevant work experience in a senior finance role, preferably in the mining or manufacturing industry
- Excellent knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Maximum age limit of 55 years
